Think a Thought to Ponder- WORDS~~~~

Words of the World
In our worldly ways
We speak so many, do you know what you say?
Do they harm, hurt, and do us wrong today?
Do they capture captivate & gravitate the meaning of what you want to convey?
Do they cultivate, capitulate and debate what you mean?
Can you capture them with tones and grace, and find a better way?
With the breath upon your lips, what escapes you can change
The words of the world in many ways~

~NUTTsHeLl~

I find that my time is precious- no more then yours, but it is. As I evaluate my life, and move through the years, I even find that it is sacred. All the things I never paid attention to before, move to the forefront of my mind. The things I took for granted, have all been "reality-checked" by life's events, both good and bad. So from this, I realized I have a voice, and I want to use it. Not just to be heard, it really is not that simple, but to make a difference. It is as if my words, could just bring one thought of change, to those who read them, then I have accomplished something good in my 40 short years.

I look at the events of the world right now- all the things making a huge impact- along with them, the supported knowledge of my continued adult college education, and I am so unsettled by what I see. This perpetuated generational selfishness and self righteous nation we live in is truly disturbing to me. To take the ways of our freedom, and to minimize them to some personal self-righteous statement many make about the USA is downright embarrassing. The lack of compassion and willingness to be kind and reach out to help other nations is disgusting- all the while, many bitching about our own country, and it's politics- but they are unwilling to invest one iota of effort to enact change personally. It can be from the simplest things as recycling, water conservation, human rights, to economic and fiscally responsible actions, to ethnic or global freedoms and kindness.

I have looked, and watched silently for many years, thinking I was too young, or naive, or uneducated to speak up- to try to point things out. To think of solutions for myself let alone others. My journey through political science, history, and women's studies, has opened my eyes to a whole new world of things that I want, and could change. So now, I have slowly over the last year, begun to speak out. For rights, for equality, for change, for conservation, for alternatives. I can have a voice, I have a right to bitch..why? because I do vote, I do write legislation, policy holders, groups, the Representatives, the house and I do make the effort to see what I think is right, come about. Does that mean that I simply think you should agree on the same things? NO!! but what it does mean, is that you also should work towards the changes you want and have a voice too instead of a simple gripe! What I want to do is open your eyes- wide open, to see the world around you, and how you, as one simple person alone, can make a difference everyday, in small baby steps! Welcome on board, to the wind for a change- all it takes is for the wind to carry your voice, and many can hear it, many may heed it... it can make a difference.. so do your part too!

~DISTURBING~

I was on facebook today- and another public domain, and saw this post on many peoples pages- I found it deeply disturbing... here is what it said:

"Does it make sense? does it? Homeless in the US go without eating. Elderly in the US go without needed medicines. Mentally ill in the US go without treatment. American troops go without proper equipment. American veterans go without benefits that were promised. Yet we donate billions to other countries before helping our own first. 1% will re-post and 99% won't. Have the guts to re-post this. I KNOW I'M IN THE 1%"

My response in a few seconds was this (and I wish I had gone into greater detail):

I agree money needs to allowcated properly here in the USA... BUT.... we are one of the richest countries on the planet- and if you look at what has happened in JAPAN- they have lost everything- and I think helping out others, our neighbors, ...is never a bad thing... the saying what comes around goes around, should never be limited by BORDERS. Being internally fiscal would be a great thing- but being selfish is not- if all of the world opened their arms to embrace and help- the world would be a much better place. WE do have shelters, and aid here- and many people CHOOSE not to seek it- I am not saying there are those who simply slip through the cracks, because certainly the system is not fair- but there are alot of resources for those who TRY to seek it- mental illness and drug issues (including alcohol) play a large part in those who dont get help- but there are many people due to economic failure and personally failed finances too; and then have no choice but to end up homeless... still, despite all these terrible circumstances- to see the loss of everything- 10,000 people, jobs, homes, animals, cars, money, banks, water, food sources, boats- all of it in Japan??... you don't think we should reach out a helping hand to them or Haiti??? You can not compare our hardships to those of these countries completely devestated!! You could take the food we throw out everyday in the garbage can in our homes, or at the end of the day at a restraunt for that matter, in the USA alone, and feed a nation! We overspend, and are materialistic in the US. Much is wasted and never recycled. We burn up natural resources faster then they can replenish. There are certainly things we could do to help oourselves internally, in our nation and don't. It is not to say many are unfairly, and unjustly treated either- because I am certainly not claiming perfection here in our country. If you want to see it make MORE SENSE here in the USA??? get out and vote! you have a voice, a choice, and you can pressure your politicians and congress by getting involved. I follow the laws personally, and pettition the house, representives and legislators at LEAST once a week on something I feel strongly about- we need to complain where it counts to change this- and help others too.

Just Some Pondering .. my rules and guides~

1)    I look at age, color of skin, creed, religeon, race, sexual preference, or anything else as a boundry implied by mankind for the walls of perception for those only shallow enough to walk along it- essentially  the simpleton lets it define ANYTHING worth jack shit....

2)  envision what you want you life to be, and for the most part, it will be.... but if you nestle in the dreary shit- you will remain there!

3)  You better be at PEACE within yourself, or the world will pick your PEICES apart one by one and you will be left with NOTHING....... (know thyself, love thyself)

4)  if you have no standards, all you will excell at is failure.... you are the only one who make yourself happy, set your boundries of right or wrong, make your own decisions, pick your friends, determine your life..... so better get some dam standards!

5)  Everything has consequences...... you can't always determine the consequences until you get there... it is not your fault, sometimes knowledge comes with experinces...... what is your fault is if you wallow in the consequences and never pick a path to higher ground if you are not happy with those consequences...... if you want to drown in your own flood, so be it, but dont make it be my problem... I am climbing the path to higher grounds, thank you very much....

6)   Death Equates to loss: time dulls the pain of our loss, but it never silences the love.... God Bless!

7)   An anchor is a Thorn.... and a support gives you room to bloom...

8)  and of course there is my word invetion of 1983: Fuck-tard.... or Fuck-tarded...

9)  I forgot the best fact- and we all do both!!!: Masturbation is like Procrastination, in the End, your only fucking yourself!!!

10) I was born this way, and you? Whats your excuse?

11) If you dont like it that I am a Bitch, just think of it this way.. I'm not your bitch so don't worry about it and mind your own dam business!! lol...

12) NO, I am not some skinny bean pole- yead, you can call it chubby, fat, undertall, and be mean, or what have you... but it's ok, because I like me, and thank GOD some people like a little "MEAT" with their potatoes..... CURVY is the new fashion satement!!

13)  being "TRUE" encompasses the Art of Honesty... and no one should ever challenge that with boundries of confinement & expectations of their own selfish agenda

14)   as I told someone the other day- it is easy to meet millions of people these days- but it is hard to find the one in a million who shares our values, beliefs, and interests and truly makes us compatible...
and it takes alot more then love and sex to make a relationship work..

15)   I think the sock monster has a santa clause like quality- he makes it to all the households of the world at once, and when you open the dryer, you never know what you are gonna get!!

16) an opinion, is just that, an opinion, it is like assholes, we all have 1, & if an opinion is offensive 2 someone & they tell you that you R "opinionated" that is only because they are so insecure that they feel like "your opinion" is threatening 2 who they really are- which in turn equates to "not much" if they are not strong enough 2 know who they are! Its called insecure!
    • Cody Ann Kimball an opinion can make us grow and become a bigger and better person. both by giving them, and receiving them.... and someone who is opinionated, just has the balls to SAY what they think and feel and be honest, where the rest think it, feel it, but dont have the balls to express it... therefore even more so indicating an insecurity about themselves... so tak it or leave it- an opinion is what you will get on my wall.... not willing to hear it or accept it? please leave my wall... there is the exit... !!!

16)  you can't change others, you can only change you... to meet your goals, you must be able to wrap a full circle of passion around that which oppresses you, to encompass the other side of the world.....

TO MY BIOLOGICAL FATHER- W. F. KOKEN

Current mood:AT PEACE WITH MY CHOICES........

Category: Life

I WAS REMEMBERING A STORY FROM WHEN I WAS SMALL-

THERE WAS THIS MAN, I LOOKED UP TO HIM

HE NEVER EVEN SAW ME AT ALL-

I WAS HIS KICKING POST & THIS I STRONGLY RECALL

HE LOOKED AT ME WITH SUCH DISTASTE-

AND ALL I SOUGHT WAS FOR HIS WARM EMBRACE

FOR THIS HE HAS FAR SINCE FAILED ME-

HE NEVER EVEN SAW ME AT ALL-

I BECKONED AND SUMMONED FOR HIM
I WAS LOST IN HIS LIFE-  FOR I WAS NO EVENT AT ALL

I WISHED AND I LONGED, I CRIED AND TRIED

BUT FOR ALL HE KNEW, HE DESPISED ME-

FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL

HE HAD NOT ONE KIND WORD-

ONLY MEAN TONGUE SPEAK-

HE BEAT MY BROTHER , THEN HE BEAT ME-

ALL I EVER WANTED WAS FOR HIM TO SEE THAT I WAS JUST A LITTLE GIRL,

WHO NEEDED MUCH LOVE AND PEACE-

IT TOOK MY BREATH AWAY, MY HEART, AND MY SELF ESTEEM-

IN HIS SELFISH CRUELNESS IT DID SEEM-

I  WAS DESTINED TO FIND A LIFE OF  GUILT AND PAIN

THAT MADE ME MAKE CHOICES, I CAN NEVER TAKE BACK AGAIN-

AND IN THIS DAY I HAVE FOUND-

 I HIT THE WORLD RUNNING,

BOTH FEET FIRMLY PLANTED ON THE GROUND-
I PUT IT FAR BEHIND ME WITH FORGIVENESS

& WITH OUT HIM, MY LIFE FLOURISHES

ALL I SEE NOW IS LOVE AND PEACE ABOUND

AND NOW.......

HE NEVER SEE'S ME AT ALL.............

The Era to Return~

My Poem today
Current mood: apathetic
I saw this photo from a famous photographer during the depression named Dorethea Lange. The photo was in a presentation put on by one of the women in my womens study class. It was so od, because the picture struck a chord in me, and instantly this poem flowed from my brain like diareaha.... lol... thats my only explanation- but below is the photo and my poem~~~

The milk of your momma
Dried like a wrath
Leaving your quest for quench
like a scantily clad bath
Dust in the bowl
Wind on your back
left you behind, a starving attack
You think to the future
So green it seems
with the wealth of forest trees
And fine crops you DO see
Then you realize, it is just a mirrage
of the Milk you wish for dried, dried like a wrath

I have no idea why this popped into my head- but it did- so I thought I would share.....

this is what my poem was about
The assault on news reporter Lara Logan was incited by Journalist Nir Rosen who worked at NYU's Center for Law and Security and ultimately led to his resignation from his position there- to think that he should know better! In response to a blog about his I posted this:

We hear of a feminist "re-bound"... another simplistic term minimizing the attempt at the feminine division of our nation, or world for that matter to seek equality. To be looked upon as the same as men?.... in that, is a weakness alone....... because the "looking" aspect is where the line is drawn inexplicably between men and women... they look, we feel.... and in the middle does not seem to be too much equality.... but women are still allowing the demoralization of themselves to happen an extent.... taking media in all its forms, specially the internet and allowing it to be a avenue to sexually exploit and liberate oneself.... thinking to themselves, this is a sign of embracing a woman’s sexual power.... but in the prowess of a visual man, it only feeds the fire to the overtly discriminatory, & sexual exploitation of women- and to see someone like Rosen revert back to the archaic masculine mind set of discrimination based on sexual gender, and a pretty face, truly and sadly to me is no great surprise..... sick... that’s what it is, just sick.......addition, we have the issue with the Pentagon, and millitary women, my law suit against my former employer, and many other in "your face" sexual assualts based on gender.... this is not ok- please, raise your children to know... that NO means NO, Maybe means NO, and just because we said YES, does not mean we can't change our minds to NO at any time... yes, any... and NO means STOP NOW !! stop the violence against women and men.... please..

there is only one thing I could possibly call Schlussel ...... IGNORANT CUNT
  • and the following copy and pasted from Forty  Shades Of Grey Blog-  by Natalie Dzerins- on Sunday Feb. 20th via web visit at 3:08 pm. PLEASE BE AWARE, THIS IS HER BLOG, HER WORDS, AND I AM ONLY RE-POSTING FOR YOUR READING PLEASURE AND IN NO WAY AM I CLAIMING THIS TO BE MY OWN- OR STEAL HER WRITINGS.
As I’ve noted before, it bothers me not a lick when mainstream media reporters who keep telling us Muslims and Islam are peaceful get a taste of just how “peaceful” Muslims and Islam really are. Schlussel starts as she means to go on, by tarring a group of people with the same brush as the most disgusting of them. The fact is, she doesn't know that the attackers were even Muslim. Egypt's Christian population were just as much a part of the protests and eventual celebrations (as were other faith groups and atheists). This was not a religious uprising, it was an uprising of the people against an oppressive regime.
In fact, it kinda warms my heart. It is at this point where you start to realise what a foul person she is. She is happy when acts of violence occur to those who disagree with her rabid proclamations of evil.
Still, it’s also a great reminder of just how “civilized” these “people” (or, as I like to call them in Arabic, “Bahai’im” [Animals]) are: Schlussel at this point demonstrates her view that Muslims are inhuman. By dehumanising them, it makes it easier for her to spout her poisonous bile without a jot of guilt. Having read some of her other articles (don't do it to yourselves), it is clear that not only is this a continuing theme of hers, but that she is on a mission to indoctrinate others to think of Muslims this way. Without meaning to sound crass, I find it strange that a person who identifies themselves as a 'proud Jew' would resort to depersonalising the entire people of a faith for the purpose of being able to abuse them easier.
There follows two pictures - one of the Islamic star and crescent, and one of Lara Logan in Tahir Square. The caption reads "Alhamdillullah [Praise allah], Islam Fan Lara Logan Gets a Taste of Islam". I'm not sure if I'm even able to begin to talk about just how wretched that caption is.
On Friday February 11, the day Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes” story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.
In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering. Those two paragraphs contain the only truths in Schlussel's article, and given that they read almost identically to the BBC report linked above, I suspect she is just quoting the press release.
Hey, sounds like the threats I get from American Muslims on a regular basis. Now you know what it’s like, Lara. I don't know whether it is true that Schlussel has ever had any threats of beatings and rape made against her, let alone regularly, and I wouldn't care to speculate. The Muslim population in America is estimated at between 1.3 - 7+ million people (demographics section). The likelihood of there being at least one bastard who thinks it's OK to make rape threats to people they don't like is fairly high. That does not mean that anyone else of the faith would condone it. That argument is like me saying "I have 100 cats. One of them is a tabby, therefore they all are".
There will be no further comment from CBS News and Correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.
I just love it when the people of the profession of “the public’s right to know” suddenly want “privacy.” Tell it to your next interview subject, Lara. Of course CBS has no further comment. Wouldn’t wanna impugn the “peacefulness” of “Religion of Peace” animals, would we? Now, if they were Christians or Jews, well, then there would be comments galore. Here Schlussel comes into her own. Logan was subjected to a serious and sustained sexual assault, as a private individual, but Schlussel wants her to leave convalescance and talk about how she was attacked by Muslims. I will point out again that no one has any idea that these awful, evil men were Muslim, and it wouldn't matter if they were - it proves nothing about Islam. Schlussel makes no comment or speculation on the religion of Logan's rescuers. They do not even warrant a mention beyond the fact that she was rescued. In this paragraph, Schlussel takes another opportunity to dehumanise Muslims to serve her purposes, and proves her religious zealotry with her finishing sentence. Once more, we don't know what religion the attackers were.
WARNING: What follows is possibly the most disgusting few sentences I have ever read in my life. I am not going to analyse them, I am going to let them speak for themselves.

So sad, too bad, Lara. No one told her to go there. She knew the risks. And she should have known what Islam is all about. Now she knows. Or so we’d hope. But in the case of the media vis-a-vis Islam, that’s a hope that’s generally unanswered.
This never happened to her or any other mainstream media reporter when Mubarak was allowed to treat his country of savages in the only way they can be controlled.
Now that’s all gone. How fitting that Lara Logan was “liberated” by Muslims in Liberation Square while she was gushing over the other part of the “liberation.”
Hope you’re enjoying the revolution, Lara! Alhamdilllullah [praise allah].

Well with the closing words of praise allah.. kindly from
